What should I pay attention to when planning my new kitchen? Answers to this question can be found in our checklist. Pay attention to your current and future kitchen requirements. Determine your storage space requirements. Plan in kitchen zones. Select cabinets that are specially designed for specific storage items. Plan your storage items in ergonomically correct levels. Stay away from shelves in base cabinets. Choose full extension drawers. Make sure that enough counter work space is planned in your kitchen. Targeted planning helps you to realize your personal desires and requirements, and it is the prerequisite for creating more storage space and organization. Drawers can be equipped so that more items can be put into them. The use of shelves in base cabinets does not promote good ergonomics. Bending down and pulling everything out to access something in the back of the cabinet is uncomfortable, time consuming and an overall unpleasant experience. What is the load capacity of drawer systems? Storage items are often heavy. Therefore, wider and deeper drawers must be able to carry heavy loads and be safe to use. Dependent upon the specification, a Blum full extension runner can carry loads of up to 110 lbs. 5. What is ORGA-LINE? ORGA-LINE is Blum's program of organization products that fit into wood drawers made for TANDEM plus BLUMOTION full extension runners or TANDEMBOX plus BLUMOTION metal drawer systems.
